Join Nina for a 4-hour wax carving workshop and create your own ring to be cast in silver using the ancient technique of lost wax casting.
You will explore different types of waxes and learn carving methods to help you bring your design to life. All tools and materials are provided and no previous jewellery experience is necessary. It’s helpful to come with a rough design idea but I will have some inspiration books available too.
After the class, your ring will be cast, polished, and posted to you via Royal Mail Special Delivery within two weeks.
This is an inclusive space and small-group environment (max 3 people). Age 16+
Tea and biscuits provided.
Location: Studio 120, Wasps Hanson Street Studios, 77 Hanson St, Glasgow G31 2HF
Accessibility: Second-floor studio with ramp access and an elevator. I will meet you in the foyer to guide you up. For additional needs, please email in advance and I will accommodate in any way I can.
